Yaki soba and yaki udon is one of fantastic stir fry noodles from Japan

who doesn’t like Fried noodles?

yup, Everybody Loves it! all kind of it. this time I made two kind of stir fry noodles, yaki soba and yaki udon, the differences is the noodles itself.

Soba (そば) noodles are noodles made of buckwheat flour, roughly as thick as spaghetti, and prepared in various hot and cold dishes, with or without soup.

Thick, chewy and ridiculously satisfying, udon noodles is made from Japanese wheat are in a league of their own. These long, are great hot or cold, and with a neutral flavor.

So for this recipe, I am using the same Ingredients for both, same method and presentation.

Ingredients :

Shredded Chinese cabbage

Shredded Cabbage

Bok coy

Carrot (Julienne)

Julienne chicken

Eggs

Shiitake mushroom (sliced)

Chopped Garlic

salt & pepper

Soy sauce

Tomato ketchup

Sweet soy sauce

Vegetable oil

Sesame Oil

Spring Onion

Nori & Katsuobushi (for garnish)

Heat Oil in a wok or pan, add garlic, sautee till the flavor comes out, add chicken stir well. add eggs stir again. and add mushroom, and other vegetables, stir well.

add soba or Udon, add the sauces, season with salt and pepper. then stir again till cook. Put Spring onion, katsuobushi and nori on top as a garnish.
