There are a lot of case that almost similar with this, started from the social media owner( private account ) who started to become a “Food critics” and this particular profession has a lot of things to influence people who follow him/her. Somehow they are getting paid for reviewing the restaurant. And the worst thing is, this “Food critics” will always say that “Food itself is yummy, tasty, etc. When in fact, it isn’t really is, for those who doesn’t know taste because they are “true” follower, they don’t care and just eat whatever the “food critics” ate. And local foodies showed up to do the same, nowadays, “Food critics” and Foodies come to restaurant to review based on the money. Sadly, maybe only one or two of them is the real reviewer. This is happening in Indonesia, as a Chef and know the food itself, I felt really bad about it.
