Bogor is known for its pleasant climate, which is ideal for nature lovers. The city is situated at an altitude of 265 meters above sea level and is surrounded by lush tropical forests and mountains. The climate in Bogor is characterized by a year-round rainfall that supports the growth of a diverse range of flora and fauna.


One of the main attractions of Bogor is the Bogor Botanical Gardens, which is also known as Kebun Raya Bogor. This garden is one of the largest and oldest botanical gardens in the world, covering an area of 87 hectares. The garden was established in 1817 by the Dutch colonial government, and it features more than 15,000 species of plants and trees from all over the world. The tamarind pulp is soaked in water, then strained and mixed with the other ingredients to create the sauce.
